Ico Parisi beech wood folding garden chairs

Two foldable garden or deck chairs by Ico Parisi for Fratelli Reguitti, made of beechwood, Italy 1970s. This set consists of two foldable high-seat chairs with an adjustable backrest. In the last photo, the chairs are shown with a cushion. Suitable for the terrace, garden, or boat, and easy to store.

The Italian couple Ico and Luisa Parisi designed together and independently at their studio, La Ruota, in Como, Italy. With a vision that embodied the modern Italian style of the 1950s, they created many classic design pieces, with the Model 813 Uovo (Egg) chair for Cassina (1951) being perhaps the most famous. These foldable armchairs with an adjustable backrest were produced by Fratelli Reguitti and designed by Ico Parisi in the mid-1960s.‍
